The Parish Council normally meets on the second Monday of each month at 7.00pm in the Village Hall, 2 Dunstable Road, Studham.
Parish Council meetings are held in public, and residents and members of the press are welcome to attend and observe.
Parish Council elections are held every four years. Elected Councillors serve a four-year term until the next scheduled elections. If a vacancy arises during that term, the Council may co-opt a new Councillor to fill the position.
Parish Councillors are unpaid and give their time and experience to serve the local community and represent the interests of parish residents.
The Council oversees all the activities of the Parish. The main areas of the Council’s work are discussed at the Council meetings.
These include:
- Liaison with Central Bedfordshire Councillors
- Road and footpath maintenance
- Local Planning
- Liaison with Bedfordshire Police
Reports are also received from Councillors in respect of their portfolio areas.

- Litter
- Stray dogs
- Grass cutting
